Fallacious reasoning is everywhere: the media, advertising, everyday conversation, politics, and more. Knowing how to spot bad reasoning, and in particular being able to explain exactly why the reasoning is bad and what is wrong with the argument, is therefore a very useful and important skill. In this workshop we’ll discuss different aspects of critical thinking and logical reasoning, with a focus on applying the knowledge to specific cases.
