In this our final lunchtime event of semester, University of Melbourne Secular Society president James Fodor will be joined in an informal discussion by Chris Mulherin, who works for Christians in Science (ISCAST.org) and is doing a doctorate on science and religious knowledge.
Among the topics that will be discussed are the relationship between science and religion, faith and reason, religious disagreement, reasons to believe, and the scientific status of supernatural explanations.
Join us for a friendly and engaging discussion of these important and topical issues. As always they’ll be snacks and plenty of opportunity for questions and audience participation.
