Following on from our “how to be a psychic” workshop last semester, Steven from the Society for Magical Arts (MAGE), will be returning to give us a presentation on magic:
Throughout the ages, the magician has had an invaluable role in society; the keeper of enchantment, the link between worlds. In an increasingly secular society that often suffers from a perceived disenchanted natural world, where are our contemporary magicians, and how might they fulfil their role whilst remaining rational?
Among other things, Steven will be demonstrating muscle reading, waking hypnosis, and humanist tarot reading. Come along for an enlightening and entertaining time!
- when: Tuesday April 8, 12-1pm
