It’s time once again for the most important event of the year: the UMSS Annual General Meeting! Attendance at the AGM is extremely important to meet quorum requirements and ensure the continued running and success of the club. Remember that Secular Society cannot exist without active members, so we urge you to attend, to lead us into another year of events! Also, you will get free pizza and soft drink for attending!
At the AGM, we will present a President’s Report and Treasurer’s Report, and will also vote on some proposed constitutional amendments (see file below) and elect a committee. Any club member who is a University of Melbourne student may run for a position on the committee. If the constitutional amendments pass, the committee will consist of a President, Secretary, Treasurer, Publicity Officer, Community Officer, and three general committee members. If the amendments do not pass, the committee will consist of a President, Secretary, Treasurer, Publicity Officer, and four general committee members.
