Student discussion: Irrational beliefs

In our Devil’s Advocate discussion this week we will address the issue of the consequences of irrational beliefs. Are all superstitions, religious beliefs, and fallacies harmful? Could some actually be beneficial? Does it really matter what someone believes, as opposed to how they act? Can someone arrive at irrational beliefs using apparently rational means? Join us this week for an interesting discussion.

Usual time and place: Old Arts Theatre B, Wednesday 1pm.

Also note there will be free food!
