Student panel: Science, atheism, and Christianity

In this long-awaited joint event, the Secular Society and the Christian Union will come together to discuss the topic “Science, Atheism, and Christianity”. What is science? Are religion and science in conflict? What are the limits of science? In the form of a panel discussion, two speakers from each society will discuss these and other important questions, as prompted by a selection of relevant quotes from prominent scientists, philosophers and theologians. There will also be opportunity for the audience to ask questions of the panelists.

This will be held on Thursday (not our usual day) August 23rd, in Rivett Theatre, Redmond Barry Building. The theatre is located on level two of the RBB, only accessible from the staircase on the west side of the building (the side closer to Union House).
